What is Shade?
Shade - Steganographically Hide and Analyze Data Entries.
Shade is a versatile and feature-rich LSB (least significant bit) manipulation program for hiding and retrieving hidden data from files. LSB manipulation is a form of steganography, the art or science of making the existence of information in a medium undetectable by normal means. Shade is Open Source software released under the terms and conditions of the GNU General Public License. See the features Page for details as to what Shade is or will be capable of.
Shade has only been tested on machines which have little-endian 8-bit bytes.
